Delivery and Returns FAQs


What happens after I place an order? 

  • When you place an order with Session Kit, you will receive an ‘Order Confirmation’ email. This confirms that we have received your order.

  • We will carry out a standard pre-authorisation check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction.

  • Once your order is accepted, your card will be charged, and your order will be dispatched to you. We will send you an ‘Order Shipped’ email to confirm this. 

  • We aim to dispatch all orders within five working days. Please note that the delivery time of your service (e.g. 24 or 48 hours) applies from the time of dispatch, not from the moment your order is placed.


WHAT HAPPENS IF I’VE MADE A MISTAKE WITH MY ORDER?

  • Please contact us as quickly as possible on info@sessionkit.com with the subject heading: URGENT AMENDMENT.

  • Sometimes orders are processed very quickly. We will try our best to accommodate your request, but it is not always possible for us to amend an order once it has been placed.


How will my order be delivered?

  • Your delivery options and prices will be shown to you at checkout, based on where you are located. Delivery options and prices are updated regularly and subject to change at any time.

  • In the UK, most parcels (under 20kg) will be shipped with either Royal Mail 24 or 48 for delivery within one or two days.

  • If you are outside the UK, orders under 2kg will be delivered by Royal Mail International. Orders over 2kg will be delivered by international courier. On very rare occasions, if you have placed a particularly heavy international order, we may need to contact you to arrange alternative delivery services.

  • Please note that if your order is to be delivered outside the UK, you are liable for any relevant customs duties and import taxes payable on your order.

  • Upon receiving your order, please check your item(s) carefully and contact us as soon as possible if there are any issues.


What happens if I am unhappy with my item(s)?

  • We hope you love the products you have ordered. However, if for any reason you are unsatisfied, you may return any unused, unsealed item within 14 calendar days of receipt. 

  • Please ensure you contact us for returns approval before dispatching your items back to us.

  • If you have not received the entire order as detailed in the ‘Order Shipped’ email sent to you when an order is dispatched, please contact us on info@sessionkit.com.

  • This does not affect your statutory rights. At Session Kit we care about customer satisfaction and will deal with any problems which may arise on an individual basis, so please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. Please click here for our full returns policy.

We’re Re-Opening Shipping to the USA!

Great news — Session Kit is now able to ship to the United States again!
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to find a reliable solution, and we’re happy to say that Evri will now handle all customs and import duties directly when your parcel reaches the U.S.

How the Process Works

  1. Place your order as usual — shipping to the USA is now active at checkout.

  2. Evri will contact you once your parcel arrives in the U.S. with details of any import tax or duty due.

  3. Please pay the tax promptly to release your parcel for final delivery.

  4. If the tax isn’t paid, your parcel will be returned to the UK and:

    • You’ll be charged for the return shipping cost, and

    • A £4 admin fee will apply to cover handling.

About the “Trump Tax”

Recent changes to U.S. trade policy mean most goods shipped from the UK are now subject to an additional 10% tariff (commonly referred to as the “Trump tax”). This charge is applied on top of any normal U.S. customs duty.

Example estimates:

  • On a £50 order → around £6–7 total import tax (10% tariff + normal duty)

  • On a £200 order → around £30 total import tax

These are estimates only — Evri and U.S. Customs will calculate the exact amount.

Need to Know

  • The 10% tariff applies broadly to UK exports under current U.S. import rules.

  • Normal U.S. customs duties vary by product type (usually 0–5%).

  • Almost all parcels now incur duties, as small-value exemptions have been removed.

  • UK VAT is not charged on exports to the USA.
